Our commercial printing client in Lexington is in need of a Human Resources Specialist to join their team! This HR Specialist will be responsible for a variety of human resources support functions, including record keeping and reporting (electronic and conventional), mandated pre-employment screenings, and other related tasks. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a Human Resources role, with payroll experience and strong communication skills. This is an excellent Temp-to-Hire opportunity, offering a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration in web-based environment
- Work closely with HR Manager in handling all aspects of Human Resources
- Coordinate special projects (e.G. Fiscal reporting and audit projects)
- Manage applicant tracking system
- Submit and review information on clearance forms to various government agencies
- Coordinate all onboarding efforts
- Assist and carryout all policies and procedures in accordance with Company protocols
- Administer Employee Benefits
- Work closely with HR Manager and Billing Department, to coordinate Payroll administration
- Maintain office staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees

Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of Human Resources and Payroll Experience
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Excel
- Accounting, business and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and to drive multiple projects simultaneously
- Organizational and problem solving skills are essential
- Strong communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to achieve goals through partnering and developing proactive relationships with employees at all levels
- Strong Knowledge of payroll laws, employment Laws, FMLA, PFL, and ACA
