We' re seeking an experienced Mailing Technician/Machine Operator for our client, a direct marketing and mailing service, located in Winston-Salem! This Temp-to-Hire opportunity has an 8: 00am-4: 30pm working schedule, with a pay rate of $12.00 per hour. The Mailing Technician is responsible for setting up and operating all mailing equipment for producing mailing projects, in compliance with job specifications, current postal regulations and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures. Qualified candidates must have a valid driver' s license and work closely with other team members to exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate workload schedule for labeling, inserting and sorting mail pieces to meet customer timeframe requirements
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
- Maintain personal productivity and quality standards, as well as meeting department production and quality goals
- Prioritize confidentiality, tact, sensitivity and professionalism when in contact with employees, customers, and vendors
- Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes/updates
- Comply with all OSHA safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with the Management, Sales, Customer Support, and Production Teams, informing and updating them to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met
- Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manuals
- Operate mailing equipment according to specifications to produce customized jobs
- Perform all mailing functions as noted on the work order in accordance with current United States Postal regulations
- Review projects before beginning activities and check to be sure the right materials are to be bursted, folded, inserted or labeled
- Stage materials for efficient, orderly processing
- Ensure high quality standards and neatness for all work performed and report any shortage of materials to the Production Manager
- Sort, band, and tray bag according to current postal standards
- Process paperwork according to policy and procedures and requirements, and maintain appropriate production documentation
- Clean and maintain equipment and work area following maintenance procedures and update maintenance logs
- Monitor and manage inventory of mail supplies, and notify personnel when additional supplies are needed
- Perform ongoing duties relating to production as assigned
- Inform management of equipment problems

Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent
- Good mathematical skills
- Valid Driver' s License
