Job Description

We are now hiring for multiple Warehouse Technicians that perform traditional Order Picker functions, for our not-for-profit home healthcare client in High Point! These Temp-to-Hire opportunities are 1st shift (8: 00am-5: 00pm) with a pay rate of $10.00 per hour. This role is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting returned equipment, cleaning room maintenance, stocking and staging inventory, and inventory maintenance, as well as assisting the Warehouse Manager in pulling and loading equipment for delivery. Candidates MUST be non-smokers, and be comfortable with performing minor repairs as needed, and logging necessary information into computers. Responsibilities:
- Perform minor repairs to equipment such as oxygen tanks, blood pressure readers, and other medical supplies.
- Conduct routine maintenance per guidelines on returned equipment
- Clean and disinfect equipment per policy, and document cleaning and routine maintenance
- Coordinate return of equipment per company guidelines
- Evaluate and recommend changes to standard cleaning supply inventory
- Responsible for the timeliness, quality, and prioritization of equipment cleaning and disinfecting
- Follow proper procedures to reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and complaints
- Generally, equipment returned from previous day and morning should be cleaned by the end of each day
- Report unsafe conditions associated with returned equipment
- Identify contaminated equipment and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment per company policy
- Help with various warehouse duties including putting up stock, sweeping floors, straightening shelves, assembling equipment, and overall organization of the warehouse
- May be responsible for documentation of FDA requirements regarding oxygen and maintain records as assigned
- Assist with pulling equipment and check off that equipment was pulled completely and accurately
- Assist in unloading returned equipment and forwarding to dirty area
- Communicate stock shortages or outages to the warehouse manager to assure adequate inventory level
- Monitor expiration dates to assure supplies are returned or re-inventoried per company guidelines
- Work in the oxygen fill plant when needed

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Construction, general manual labor, military and equipment repair or maintenance skills would be considered related experience
- Equipment repair or maintenance skills
- Problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities and tasks
- Skilled at decision making
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and to sit, stand, bend stoop, kneel, pull, climb, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements
- Non-smoker
